6 days strong and I am feeling happier and healthier! Shout out to my boyfriend who supports me and is the one who signed me up for this challenge. I have been going to Yyoga everyday since I have signed up. I am determined to complete my personal goal of 30 days. Practicing yoga everyday has been super beneficial for my body as I am feeling less sore from the gym. I don’t stretch as much after my intense workouts so this challenge is really helping me.
Yoga of the week: Power yoga.
For those of you who don’t know Power yoga is a dynamic and challenging sequence of postures that synchronizes breath with movement in order to build strength, balance, and flexibility. Most of the yoga classes I attend are heated classes up to 32 degrees celsius. I have never tried Power yoga and this class was 1.5 hrs and oh boy did I explore some new things with my body.
Parsa Bakasana pose was presented during my Power yoga practice. This was the first time I had attempted this pose. I struggled holding this pose but I know with time, patience and practice I will have the strength to hold it.
